Notices

Privacy policy.

The short version: your numbers never leave your browser, the site is paid for by advertising, and we have no interest in who you are.

Last updated 1 September 2026. This policy covers quickcalcsusa.com and every calculator on it.

What we collect

Nothing you type into a calculator. Every calculation on this site runs entirely inside your browser. Salaries, loan balances, property values and retirement figures are never transmitted to us, never written to a database, and never stored anywhere after you close the tab.

What we do receive is what any website receives when you visit it. Our hosting provider records standard server logs: your IP address, the pages you request, the time of the request, your browser and operating system, and the page that referred you. These logs exist to keep the site running and to identify abuse.

If you write to us using the contact page, your message opens in your own email programme and is sent from your own account. We hold that correspondence for as long as it takes to answer you, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Cookies and local storage

We set no tracking cookies of our own. If a calculator remembers a preference between visits, it does so in your browser’s local storage — data that stays on your device and is readable only by this site.

Third parties on this site do set cookies. Where advertising is served, the advertising network and its partners may set cookies and read device identifiers to select and measure adverts; this is described in the next section.

You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser settings, and block third-party cookies entirely. Doing so will not stop any calculator from working.

Analytics and advertising

We use analytics to understand which calculators are used and where visitors arrive from. This tells us which pages deserve attention. It does not tell us who you are.

Advertising. This site is free to use and is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, which means Google and its advertising partners place cookies on your device, or read identifiers already there, in order to select adverts, cap how often you see the same one, and measure whether it worked. Some of these adverts are personalised, drawing on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies is governed by its own policies, which we neither set nor control. You can review them, and switch personalised advertising off entirely, in Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. Third-party vendors, including Google, may also be subject to the Google advertising policies. Opting out of personalised adverts does not remove advertising from the site; it makes what you see less specific to you.

Visitors in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area are asked for consent before advertising or analytics cookies are set, and may withdraw it at any time through the same consent control. Visitors in California may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising; the advertising network’s controls above are the mechanism for this.

We do not sell personal information ourselves, we hold no advertising profiles of our own, and nothing you type into a calculator is ever passed to an advertiser — those figures never leave your browser at all.

For visitors in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, our lawful basis for processing server logs is legitimate interest: operating a website securely. Where we rely on anything requiring consent, we ask for it first and you may withdraw it at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it if it is wrong;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • object to our processing of it;
  • ask us not to sell or share it — though we do neither.

Residents of California have these rights under the CCPA as amended; residents of the UK and EEA have them under the UK GDPR and GDPR. To exercise any of them, write to us through the contact page. We will not charge you and we will not treat you differently for asking.

How long we keep things

Server logs are retained for a short period by our host and then discarded. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter you wrote about. Calculator inputs are never retained at all, because they never leave your device.

Children

This site is a general-purpose reference for adults managing their own money. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because calculations run locally and we hold no accounts, no passwords and no financial records, there is very little about you here for anyone to steal — which is the strongest privacy measure available to a site like this one.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.

How to reach us
